Coney Island Ice Cream Café is a locally owned, family oriented business with a bit of an Italian flare. Opened in 2003, the cafe serves delicious year round ice cream, coffees, sandwiches, and teas to local and loyal customers of the West Newton area. Located on 1284 Washington St, West Newton, Coney Island Ice Cream is just a couple doors down from the West Newton Cinema and across the street from CVS.

The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the colorfully painted wall and music for the Christmas holiday, bringing back the nostalgia of childhood, and memories of ice cream trips with the family. There are over 40 flavors of ice cream from vanilla to coffee Oreo, prices ranging from $3.25-$5.95. Any of the 40 ice cream flavor can also be made into a frappe. They offer a variety of frozen yogurt and serve pre-made pies and ice cream cakes. With winter coming soon, one of Coney Islands coffees is a nice alternative to one of their ice cream flavors. The café has a list of delightful tea options from different styles of green tea, plain black tea, or chai tea.

What sets this café apart from any other café such as Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts is that the owner and the employees make the coffee with pride, making sure every beverage is brewed and presented just right.

“We get our coffee beans roasted by this fancy roaster in New York,” said owner Fulvio Fiermonte.

They make the mochaccino delicately, with some foam on the top including a shot of chocolate, and just like that, customers have a delicious cup of coffee to get through the morning and the day. To add to their array of artisan coffee flavors, customers may also enjoy espresso, mochaccino, and affogato. The prices of coffee range from $2-$3.50 for a small, and $2.50- $4.50 for a large.

The café also has homemade, reasonably priced sandwiches for $5.95-$6.15. The customer favorite is their cranberry walnut chicken sandwich.

Coney Island Ice Cream Cafe is a wonderful place to go with friends and family for a scoop of ice cream or a delightful cup of coffee or tea that will make one smile from ear to ear.

The cafe is accessible by taking the Lasell shuttle to the West Newton stop, then cross the street towards the movie theater.

But, think on this, what if youu were to write a killker headline?

I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to runn your website, but what if you added a headline that
makes people desire more? I mean Coney Island
is a sweet treat The 1851 Chronicle is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create post titles
to gett viewers interested. You might add a video or a piic or
two to grab readers excited about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it could make your posts a
    litttle livelier.
