For the last month and a half I’ve been giving you some of my ideas for dorm-friendly recipes. Well, now it’s your turn. I am taking the week off to see if anyone has any ideas of their own. What I would like is for anyone with an idea of their own to email it to me at email@example.com and Kayli Hertel at firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, April 30th at 6 p.m. and it will be published the next day.
These recipes can be as simple or as complicated as you want. For that matter, you don’t even need to submit a full meal, a simple snack idea would work too. The winning submission will be published here, on The 1851 Chronicle site. All I ask is that you follow the rules for the Foil Foodie series: keep preparation time under 10 minutes, keep the total cost of ingredients under $10, and use only a knife, spoon, fork, solo cup, and of course… aluminum foil. Feel free to include your own tips and tricks as well as photos of the process as you go.
Have fun, get cooking and I look forward to reading your ideas!
