The second annual Hospitality Day proved successful as students and faculty alike were treated to Keynote Speaker David Giblin of the Marriott Hotel chain as well as two panels of experienced field professionals, among other fascinating events.
Hospitality Day keynote speaker David Giblin gives advice on how to succeed in the ever-changing traveling business. Giblin is the Vice President of Northeast Sales for Marriot International.
Dr. Melissa Varao, head of Lasell’s Hospitality and Event Management program, speaks introduces the alumni panel. The featured alumni were Shannon Pasco, Amy Sleeper, Jillian Riches, and Eric Dufault.

Students and faculty enjoyed the career and internship fair, where companies like Yelp and Marriott set up display tables for students to explore.
The career and internship fair appealed to all students, and featured professionals from the field. It was held in the Athletic Center.
