The Lasell College Year in Review: 2016

Dear Viewer,

In case you accidentally fell asleep and missed the entire academic school year, I’m here to fill you in. Rose Leger and I worked very hard on this, and we hope you’ll enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.

All athletic records mentioned were broken before the time of publication, so I’ll quickly mention the ones that happened post-production. Softball player Nicole LeBlanc became the program’s all-time hit leader with 169, and starting pitcher Eileen Bergin became the all-time strikeout leader with 285. Track and field’s Josh Nixon posted an 11.63 meter triple jump, a personal and school-best distance. Nick Garifalos set another school best, followed by a New England Regional Championship-qualifying performance that won the meet. Melissa Cooley posted a program-high in the 400-meter race, as well as the 200 meter dash.

I think that’s it. Be safe and work hard this summer. I’ll see you in September.

For the 1851 Chronicle, I’m Tristan Davis.
