My first impression of Lasell was fairly different from others. The reason I say this is because my very first time visiting the campus was the day of orientation! Yes, it’s true. I paid my deposit, didn’t attend accepted student day and orientation was my first time seeing the campus. Although it was pretty risky, I’m so glad I made the decision to attend. I had so much fun during orientation; I made some great friends and even met my roommates. They are by far the sweetest people I’ve ever met!
I come from a school where the friends you met in kindergarten are the same friends you walk across the stage with at graduation. I wasn’t quite sure if it would be easy making friends here at Lasell, but I did. I would like to share a quick appreciation to Janiya, Kenzie, Ice, Emma, and my suite mates! I’m beyond grateful for you guys and all the friendly faces I’ve met over the past weeks.
Home for some people may be where they lay their head at night but to me, home is a place of welcome, comfort and love. My friends at Lasell have definitely given me that feeling. Thank you for making me feel like I’m home away from home all the time! Whether I made friends or not, I’m still confident in my decision to attend Lasell. I knew this school was the perfect place for me to achieve my dream career of becoming a Crime Scene Investigator on the road. I am halfway through the semester and very satisfied with my decision. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
