My name is Julia Ricco and I am a junior. I am a Fashion Media and Marketing major with double minors in Photography and Fashion Retail and Merchandising. Along with my studies, I am also a Key Holder, which is a type of manager, at Michael Kors in the Natick Mall. As I write this on a Wednesday afternoon, I will be walking you through my daily schedule as a full time student with a part-time job.
I start my day off with my Public Relations class, which goes from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. This tends to be rather difficult for me, since I am definitely not a morning person. I try to meet with the class in person, but sometimes I get too lazy and join through Zoom.
Then, I get myself dressed, put on some makeup and go into work from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Due to my schedule this semester being all over the place, my hours for work are very limited. While at work, I walk over to Nordstrom E-Bar to grab a coffee and a bagel for breakfast.
After work, I have to rush back to campus for my 2 p.m. Trend Forecasting class. Once class is over, I go back to my room and do some homework while I make myself some lunch. I tend to make a lot of my own meals here since I live on the opposite side of campus from the dining hall and can’t eat many things at 1851 because I am vegan.
Once I finish my homework, I usually will switch back and forth from TikTok and “The Vampire Diaries” on Netflix. Later on in the evening, I will either make myself dinner or order something from Uber Eats. For the rest of the night, I will either continue my lazy antics from earlier or work on homework.
