Avery Stankus | Editor-in-Chief
Avery is a senior from Loudonville, New York. She is a communications major with a concentration in journalism and a minor in fashion communications. She has been a member of The 1851 Chronicle since the spring of 2018. Post grad, she hopes to one day become a creative director for a fashion magazine. Avery studied abroad in Florence, Italy during the fall 2018 and will talk about it any chance she gets. In her free time, Avery enjoys painting and petting any dog she encounters.
Holly Feola | News Editor
Holly is a sophomore at Lasell from Pelham, New Hampshire. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in communications. Outside of The Chronicle she is a member of Empty Bowls, and a resident assistant. She was an orientation leader this past summer. Holly enjoys the beach, and loves to spend time with her dog, family and friends.
Mitchell Bolton | Art Director
Mitchell is a junior communications major with a concentration in creative advertising and a minor in graphic design. Besides working on the layout for The 1851 Chronicle, Mitchell is a student ambassador in the Office of Admission. When he isn’t working on something he is usually watching Friends on Netflix or hanging out with friends around campus.
Claire Crittendon | Features Editor
Claire is a first-year journalism and media writing major at Lasell from Framingham, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school when she was 16, Claire decided to prepare herself for a career in investigative journalism. Besides being involved with The 1851 Chronicle, Claire is also a part of Lasell’s Mock Trial team.
Casey Dibari | Opinion Editor
Casey is a senior communications major from Long Island, New York. When she’s not busy with The 1851 Chronicle, she can usually be found around campus on her daily walks. She will also gladly take up the title as the staff’s resident Yankees fan.
Adam Hallenbeck | Sports Editor
Adam Hallenbeck is a junior communications major with a double concentration in sports communication and journalism and media content. Hailing from Charlemont, Massachusetts, Hallenbeck aspires to be the next sports anchor on your screen and looks for a career in sports journalism in general. Aside from the Chronicle, he is also a contributing writer for the Greenfield Recorder, covering local sports in the area. Adam loves to sing, be outside, and play rugby in his free time.
Katie Peters | Arts & Entertainment Editor
Katie Peters is a sophomore communications major with a concentration in journalism and a minor in photography. She has been a member of The 1851 Chronicle since fall of 2018. She grew up in Southern New Hampshire spending her summers hiking and camping with friends and family. She also enjoys traveling and playing rugby.
Ruth Kehinde | Digital Editor
Ruth Kehinde is from Brooklyn, New York. She is a junior, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political Science. Kehinde loves trying out new food, places and music on her free time. As an RA this past year, Kehinde loves helping and inspiring not just her residents but anyone around her. A fun fact about her is that she practiced martial arts for 12 years and she loves to hike and hang with friends.
Emily Long | Digital Editor
Emily Long is from Syracuse, New York. She is a communications major concentrating in Public Relations. During the spring semester of her junior year she studied in Washington D.C., where she interned in the House of Representatives.
