NEWTON, MA — During the first weekend in March, a handful of Lasell College Radio board members are heading to New York City to represent the school at the 79th annual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards.

The New England Patriots claimed their sixth Super Bowl ring on Sunday, February 3 and headed home once again to celebrate in the city of Boston. Check out these photos from Lasell students who cheered on their team throughout Tuesday’s celebration.
The end of winter break brought a chilly new feature to campus – an ice rink! On January 17, students were invited to make a cup of gourmet hot chocolate to enjoy while skating. The area has been popular since the start of the spring semester and is home to daily hockey games amongst friends or simply skating around after class. Be sure to stop by this new feature and look out for any upcoming events on the ice!

Six communication students and two faculty members traveled to WashingtonD.C. on Oct. 11-13 to learn more about political communications. Each day was lledwith activities such as touring Sirius XM Radio, having lunch at the National PressClub, meeting with Congressman Joe Kennedy III’s press secretary, and spending aday at the Newseum.
