When I was a first-year, I knew I wanted to join the newspaper. I went to my first meeting and I was nervous but I loved the energy. Our cramped but homey office felt like a real newsroom. If you were to ask any college student in America what year their college was founded, they might have to think for a second. For some, they might not even know. If you asked any Lasell University student what year their college was founded, the answer might just fly out of their mouth, “1851!”
