The School of Fashion has been directly affected by the decisions surrounding the annual fashion shows: Undergraduate and Senior Collections. Due to COVID-19, the Undergraduate Show has been canceled, while the Senior Collections show is to be determined. Despite these unprecedented times, students of The School of Fashion are adapting to these changes and ensuring the show must go on.

Fashion Focus: Meet Sam Bettencourt

Senior fashion design major Sam Bettencourt takes creativity to the next level. After studying abroad in London at the London College of Fashion, they realized corsets were their calling. They describe their style as “deconstructed elegance. It’s appalling but…alluring.”

Fashion Focus: Meet Cora Lynn

To talk about what makes a community great, you need to understand who makes it up and influences it from within. It takes a few underlying creative geniuses to inspire the rest of us, and that is what this new editorial section will aim toward uncovering. Who makes Lasell’s energy unique? Which students remain lowkey but stand out; and what makes them stand out?
