Men’s Volleyball run to GNAC finals

On April 9, the number two seeded men’s volleyball team traveled to first seeded Wentworth Institute of Technology to battle for the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship. The Lasers came up short as Wentworth claimed victory in three sets and move on to the DIII NCAA Tournament as GNAC Champions.

Legacy of a “coach-tain”

When senior captain Elise Stanbury joined the track and field team four years ago, there were only three other throwers. Now, the throwers have 10 members between the men’s and women’s teams thanks in part to her leadership.

32 minutes after three years

Mitski has had a love affair with music, and her fans have been put through the wringer. After taking a hiatus from music in 2019, she released her newest album “Laurel Hell” on February 4, and it was only 32 minutes in length. According to Mitski, this is the longest she has spent working on an album and has been working on various songs since 2018.

“Lasell has a gallery?”

The Wedeman Art Gallery is located on the first floor of Yamawaki, but is often overlooked. 

When people come to Boston looking for attractions such as museums, they typically drift to the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) or the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA). However, there are plenty of opportunities for student artists and art lovers alike to get involved with their local art community at Lasell.
