Men’s Lacrosse hopeful for continued success

The Men’s Lacrosse team has made it to the Great Northeastern Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament every year since 2011, excluding the 2020 season that was canceled due to COVID-19. Coming off a GNAC Championship, a National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament appearance, and playing under new head coach Dieter Treusdell, the Lasers hope to continue their success and take home another championship.

Lasers lose White Ribbon game against Sharks

Saturday afternoon, the women’s lacrosse team took a 15-7 loss against the Simmons University Sharks at Grellier Field. Seniors Sophia Gadsden and Sydney Brady lead the offense for the Lasers, combining for five of the seven goals. Gadsden scored a hat trick and Brady had two scores. Senior goalie Devin Zambruno tallied 17 saves in the loss.

Men’s Lacrosse breaks out against Dean

The Lasers defeated the Dean College Bulldogs on Wednesday afternoon with a score of 15-8, moving to 3-5 on the season and 2-0 in Great Northeastern Athletic Conference play.

Men’s Volleyball takes down top-ranked Springfield in four sets

The men’s volleyball team sent the Laser faithful into a frenzy last night at the Athletic Center after beating the number one ranked Division III program in the country, the Springfield College Pride, 3-1. The win marked the first time Lasell had beaten Springfield in program history.

Lasers lose to undefeated Bluejays

The Lasers (12-9 overall) took on the undefeated Bluejays of Saint Joseph Connecticut at home during last night’s men’s basketball matchup for an in-conference game at 7:30 p.m. The Bluejays, ranked sixth nationally in Division III, took the win over Lasell 91-64, improving to 20-0.
