March observed Daylight Savings Time in most of the world, but on the Lasell campus, it was also a month of “days” to save: Hospitality Day (March 2), COM Day (March 8), and Fashion Day (March 22).

Lasell College held its second annual Hospitality Day on March 2. The event was planned by students for students. The day was plentiful with students connecting with real world professionals, educating themselves on the various branches of the industry.

The second annual Hospitality Day proved successful as students and faculty alike were treated to Keynote Speaker David Giblin of the Marriott Hotel chain as well as two panels of experienced field professionals, among other fascinating events.

Hospitality, the newest addition to Lasell’s connected learning initiative, held the latest “major” day with speakers,
potential employers, and alumni on March 4, in deWitt Hall.
The success of Hospitality Day belongs to seniors Deirdre Duddy-Kennedy, and Briana Penny. The two event coordinators’ hard work and dedication were the key ingredients for the day’s success.
