The men’s lacrosse team traveled to Baltimore this past spring break to play University of New England at Johns Hopkins University. Although the team was defeated 16-9, they toured various aspects of Maryland throughout their stay.
Last spring the men’s lacrosse team came close to making history, being the first men’s lacrosse team at Lasell to win a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) title. The men squared up against the Saints of Emmanuel College in the GNAC Championship game. It was a nail biting game. In the end, the Saints earned the victory over the Lasers with a final score of 14 – 13, proving it was a true battle for the GNAC title.
While various members of the men’s volleyball team ventured to Niagara Falls and the Mohegan Sun Casino, the rest of Lasell’s athletes dispersed throughout North America in search of more 2016 victories. Panning out as far as Puerto Rico and Florida, the Lasers collected key wins over schools from MA, NY, and PA.
