Streaming services have begun their spring cleaning and we now have access to new content. The only problem with all these new options is where to start. Here’s a guide for what to watch depending on what you’re interested in.
Finding a show or movie that captures your attention and passes the time can be difficult. Especially if you spent most of quarantine watching everything imaginable, new is hard to find. If you are craving a new movie or show to binge watch, here are seven recommendations for every interest out there.
As Halloween approaches, there are many spooky movies for people to get into the groove of watching. Within the month of October, putting on a good scary movie and preparing to scream your head off is the ideal move. Although there’s many horror films that have been made over the years, here are some that are without a doubt, spooktacular:

Now that most of the world is stuck at home all day because of quarantine, it’s easy to get bored. Not being able to go out in public is something everyone is adjusting to – including the film industry. Movie theaters across the country have had to shut their doors for the time being until this pandemic subsides enough to hold public gatherings again. While movie premiers have been forced to make major adjustments, consumers have turned to streaming services as sources of entertainment.
On Nov. 12, Disney released its new streaming service, Disney+, which can be downloaded as an app. The service was created as another avenue for Disney to share new content while providing nostalgic movies and shows.

Marvel’s First Avenger is back and packs a bigger punch in “Captain American: The Winter Soldier.” The second installation in the Captain America series picks up where the “The Avengers” film left off. Captain Steve Rogers, a.k.a Captain America (Chris Evans), is working for secret spy agency S.H.E.I.L.D but Rogers isn’t quite sure if he wants to keep doing the whole superhero thing. The main concept of the film is there is something fishy going on at the S.H.E.I.L.D agency. 1. “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”
“The Hobbit” Trilogy continues with part two: The Desolation of Smaug. Bilbo continues on his journey with his dwarf companions and Gandalf the Grey to defeat the dragon, Smaug, in order to reclaim the dwarves’ homeland. Fan favorite Legolas from the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy will reappear. It is the must see adventure film of the season.
