Six communication students and two faculty members traveled to WashingtonD.C. on Oct. 11-13 to learn more about political communications. Each day was lledwith activities such as touring Sirius XM Radio, having lunch at the National PressClub, meeting with Congressman Joe Kennedy III’s press secretary, and spending aday at the Newseum. The annual Washington D.C. trip hosted by the Communication Department at Lasell gave six students and two professors the chance to explore the nation’s capital. With visits to SiriusXM Radio, kglobal, Newseum, Cannon House Office Building and The National Press Club, students were able to meet professionals in their field and expand connections outside of the classroom.
