Do you qualify for the $1,200 stimulus check? If you’re reading this, it’s unlikely. Currently, those eligible are dependents under the age of 17, who will receive $500, single adults who aren’t claimed as dependents, who will receive $1,200 and married couples, who will receive $2,400, according to the Forbes article titled, “Most College Students Won’t Get A Stimulus Check,” accessed on May 1.

The cost of convenience

Laundry is an unavoidable part of living away from home. Though it may be a small hassle and cost some money, it still has to get done at some point. The original way of paying for laundry was via the swipe of a card. Now with the new laundry system, it may just make it easier for some students to get their laundry done by eliminating the plastic cards and enabling students to pay through an app.

Pursuing great, forever forward

On Aug. 13, 2019 students were soaking up the last weeks of summer before they headed back to Lasell College. However, that would soon change. Students wouldn’t be returning to Lasell College in the fall. That morning, President Michael Alexander appeared in our email inboxes, class Facebook pages and social media feeds to announce “Lasell University.”
