Lasers dominate Anna Maria on senior day

Six players were honored Friday evening at the Athletic Center, as the Lasers celebrated their senior night with a 99-64 victory over Anna Maria College. Jonathan Friberg, Liam Jacobs, Zach Scott, and 1,000-point-scorers Kevin Vanderhorst, EJ Day, and Kevin Nunez were honored before tip-off.

Men’s soccer suffers 2-0 loss to Johnson & Wales on Senior Day

Men’s soccer celebrated senior day at Taylor Field on Saturday afternoon, however suffered a tough 2-0 loss to Johnson & Wales. The loss brings the Lasers’ conference record to a 1-7-1 as the regular season comes to a close.

Women’s lacrosse rolls past USJ Blue Jays on Senior Day

Women’s lacrosse honored their senior players (L-R) Vanessa Pino, Jordan McComb, Lily Delaney for their contributions on April 13.

During the women’s lacrosse senior game on April 13, the team honored captain Jordan McComb, Lily Delaney and Vanessa Pino, all seniors. The team matched the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph (Connecticut).

Senior Day celebrates final seasons

Fall sports teams honored their senior athletes on Oct. 13. Men’s soccer fell 2-0 against Salve Regina University. Women’s soccer hosted their Breast Cancer Awareness game on Senior Day, clinching a 2-1 victory against Regis College. Women’s field hockey triumphed over Rivier University 5-4 in overtime. The men’s and women’s cross country team ran on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Suffolk University invitational held at Franklin Park. The women’s team finished 12th out of 19 teams, while the men’s team came in 16th place out of 19 teams. Women’s volleyball both honored their two seniors and dominated Emmanuel College 3-1. Family, Friends, & Alumni Weekend was held October 16 – 18 with on and off-campus activities, including senior day games for multiple Lasell teams. Senior Day honors student athletes at the last home game of their college career. Field hockey lost 2-0, men’s soccer lost 2-1, women’s soccer won 4-0. Women’s volleyball will not honor their seniors until October 30. Members of both the men and women’s cross country team were honored with a ceremony during the soccer games.
