Lasers say goodbye to Ricky Igbani

After going on leave in January, head coach of track and field Ricky Igbani officially resigned his coaching duties on February 24 because of a family matter. He has spent the last two semesters in charge of the cross country, indoor, and outdoor track and field teams.

Record-setting season for winter sports

The winter season for Laser sports is almost over and it has been historic. Men’s and women’s basketball as well as track and field are having some of their best seasons in recent history. Multiple players have recorded individual program records and milestones.

Men’s Basketball

Men’s basketball opens up the 2018- 19 campaign with three games in five days beginning on the road at Fitchburg State on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 12:00 p.m. Two days later, the Lasers will host Regis a non-conference home opener at 7:00 p.m. Hopping back out of conference action, the Lasers host 2017 National Champion Babson on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Freshman Megan Stella competes in Irish dancing worldwide

Placing 14th at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, freshman Megan Stella has been dancing for 15 years and reaching for her goals ever since she started. Stella has qualified and will compete at the World Championships this coming April in Dublin, Ireland for McInerney School of Irish Dance.
